Why is it that I feel guilty every time I go out? I had such a great night last night celebrating passing my exam and yet even after a good 8 hours sleep I am regretting going out.
The drunken dial text messages for one…
The stupid comments made to work colleagues for two…
The over consumption of alcohol leading to feeling bloated for three…
And finally the fact that...
Race
It is all such a rat race.
Up at 6am to go swimming..swim for an hour…change, work from the hotel, breakfast, work from the hotel, lunch, try and get cash from tellers at bank, meetings, meetings, work meetings, travel back to hotel, go to study masterclass (CA), then to swimming pool and collapse on the bed.
6 more weeks till my race. 6 more weeks till I see Dad & Nana.
Wahoo.
Bean Rock Lighthouse 3.1 km Ocean Swim - Auckland
Competed in the Bean Rock 3.1km Ocean Swim in Auckland Harbour on Saturday 12th February 2011..
116 Finishers in the 3.1km Course!
Somehow I managed to come away with a 3rd place Female (44 females), 2nd in 20-29 Female Age Group and 12th Overall!
Pretty happy with that :)
A time of 57:59 Minutes - which is fair to say that the swim definitely wasn’t 3.1km easy…
